Return to Life Launches to Empower Persistent Post-Concussive Symptoms (PPCS) Survivors
Imagine Suddenly Losing A Sense of Who You Are—Return to Life Helps PPCS Survivors Reclaim Their Identity
Persistent Post-Concussive Symptoms (PPCS) can leave even the most determined individuals feeling frustrated, stuck and misunderstood. Everyday activities such as having a conversation in busy environment, socializing at events or going grocery shopping can become overwhelming obstacles. For many, traditional recovery paths don’t go far enough into the lived experience between the symptoms being treated. That’s where Return to Life, a newly launched practice, comes in—designed to guide high achievers through the challenges of PPCS recovery with compassionate, peer-led solutions.
Leading the Way
Rooted in evidence-informed tools and lived experience, Return to Life offers clients practical frameworks to navigate the mental and emotional load of PPCS. From overcoming cognitive challenges to restoring productivity, the practice provides a path forward for survivors who feel stalled or unsupported.
“Recovery isn’t just about surviving,” says founder Chaandani Khan, a PPCS survivor herself. “It’s about reclaiming your identity, confidence, and momentum. With the right strategies and support, you can and will rebuild.”
A Recovery Path That Works
After experiencing the gaps left between traditional recovery appointments following her own brain injury, Chaandani Khan developed Return to Life to fill the void for others. Her approach combines personal insights with evidence-based practices to address the unique needs of PPCS survivors.
Programs at Return to Life are designed to:
Equip clients with practical tools tailored to their current cognitive abilities
Reignite motivation and forward momentum
Build self-sufficiency, ensuring clients no longer need ongoing support
“Return to Life is more than a service—it’s a lifeline,” says Khan. “We help people move from stuckness to freedom, offering them hope and the strategies to succeed.”
Changing the Conversation About PPCS
Launched with support from the Brands for Better Foundation’s Springboard Program, Return to Life is on a mission to reshape the conversation about PPCS. Through educational workshops, clinic partnerships, public speaking events, and press engagements, the practice aims to raise awareness and deliver results-oriented recovery solutions.
